For those of you new to the Internet, or to computer use in general, we have compiled some educational material that you will find extremely helpful.

Everything you need to know about computers can be found here, you can learn about your computer desktop, about files and hard drives and so much more. This is a definite read for beginning computer users or even intermediate users alike! Check it out before you start to explore the internet. A lot of the information you find here will help you on your online voyage.

An Internet Safety Guide has been placed here for your perusal. The Internet Safety Guide will give you a history of the Internet, personal and safety precautions you can take when surfing the Internet, and websites safe for children along with a lot of other information.

The Northumberland CAP program can also provide in-class tutorials on certain internet topics such as internet browsing, emailing and shopping. These workshops will take place at the Northumberland CAP hub located in Ecole C.R. Gummow Public School. More information on the Gummow Hub can be found here.
