2002 Dog Tags
The Joint Animal Control group, represented by the Town
of Cobourg, the Town of Port Hope / Hope, Hamilton Township
and Alnwick / Haldimand Township have elected to streamline
the purchase and sale of dog tags for the year 2002.
All four municipal partners will be running their dog
tag programs in accordance with the calendar year. New
2002 tags will be made available for sale on January
1, 2002. An "early bird" rate will be offered
from January 1 through February 28th, 2002. After February
28th, regular prices will apply.
Dog tags will be sold at your local municipal office
in your resident municipality. Non-resident dog tags
WILL NOT be made available for sale to non-resident
dog owners by the participating municipalities.
Cobourg residents will have 2002 tags available at
the Tax office as of January 1, 2002 in Victoria Hall,
55 King Street West.
Prices for all municipalities are as follows:
Tags Sold Between January 1 and February 28th
Natural Animals
(not spayed or neutered) $15.00
Spay or Neutered Animals $10.00
Kennel Licences $25.00
$ Replacement Tags $5.00
Tags Sold After March 1
Natural Animals
